About the caregiver

Hello! My name is Kayla and I would love to walk your dogs and spend time with your cats to help give them fun, fulfilling days! Ever since I was little, I have always loved dogs and all animals!! I grew up taking care of many different dog breeds (rottweilers, st. bernards, labs, pit bulls, basset hounds, mini aussies, and more!). I love dogs of all sizes and attitudes (from super timid to super energetic and outgoing). I am definitely a lover of big dogs and bully breeds!! I have always had a house full of cats as well! I currently have 5 (including my foster cat!). In 2020 I graduated from a technical high school from the veterinary sciences program. Currently, I am a student at CCAC studying Music Technology. In terms of professional experience, I have worked as a kennel assistant at a pet hotel, a veterinary assistant at PVSEC in the surgery department, a veterinary assistant at a small veterinary hospital, and now I am a pet sitter and dog walker! :) In total, I have around 7+ years of educational and professional experience working with dogs, cats, and other small animals! I am super excited to meet all of the pets in the Pittsburgh area! :)
