Wagging around town with your pup :D
About the caregiver
When I meet dogs I like to speak to them and use their name so they know I’m safe, I usually let them smell me before touching them but a lot of the time they jump up on me before I get the chance to do a proper greeting lol. I grew up with cats and still live with them so I always offer my hand and let my presence be known before engaging with them, I like to give them the respect of letting me touch them before I just go in for it. I have a little girl named Marcie, she’s a fluffy black, very small and anxious 6 year old kitty. Im good at dealing with stubborn dogs and dogs who pull and am strong enough to pick up dogs between 20-35 lbs if they decide they don’t wanna walk anymore. I have experience caring for multiple senior dogs for over a week at a time when my bfs parents are out of town. The oldest, penny, the Aussie I’m posing with in my gallery, is 15. And the little fluff ball is snickers, a 13 year old Aussie mix. The black lab was named Kirby, he passed from cancer a couple months ago, sadly. He acted like a puppy all the way till the end, he was so sweet and gentle, I miss him sooooo much. Snickers is in kidney failure so he has a special diet, and penny is blind and arthritic. Im so excited to form new relationships with your doggies! I pay extra attention to make sure they don’t eat anything because the sidewalks are so littered, keep them hydrated on walks, give them treats when the pet parent allows, and ALWAYS pick up after them!
