About the caregiver
Long-time dog lover; 9 years of experience; Trained in Cat and Dog First Aid (American Red Cross) I've loved dogs my whole life but was never allowed to have one as a kid. I've been making up for lost time as an adult, caring for furry friends and family for short durations while their humans have traveled, as well as long durations during their humans' health issues. I now also have my own adult dog that I have trained since he was a puppy. I prioritize with learning your dog's unique needs and personality while giving them the same affection and patience I give my own pup. I meet-and-greet with new clients to discuss their pet's specific needs before our first walk or drop-in visit. While I typically only accept same-day bookings from established clients, please message me if you are in a bind. I am trained in Cat and Dog First Aid through the American Red Cross in the unlikely case that an emergency arises. Do please let me know if your dog has any dietary or medical restrictions (e.g. no dairy treats or no jumping movements), as well as if they have any preferences of favorite treats, toys, games, or walking habits. Enrichment is so important for dogs. For walks, I make sure we get plenty of stimulating sniff breaks, and for drop-ins we make sure to play in a way that is appropriate for your dog mentally and physically.
