About the caregiver

Hello! My name is Kristen and I’m a lifelong animal lover. I currently have an orange kitty son named Loki, and he is my buddy (my first photo is us relaxing). I have read Jackson Galaxy’s book and studied his techniques to offer my cat his best most “mojo-fied” life :). I’ve also educated myself on cat communication and signals, and firmly believe they communicate clearly with us if we are willing to learn their language (ie: they aren’t dogs). Speaking of dogs, I adore them. I have worked in the past as a front desk receptionist with VCA Animal Hospital. I also volunteered to walk and play with the dogs at the local animal control back home in Anchorage, Alaska. Additionally I house sat for friends at times. Being an apartment dweller, I have chosen not to adopt a dog (though I desperately wanted to!) until I can own a home and have the proper yard and space for them. In the meantime, I think walking and spending time with them here on Wag! is a great alternative! Exercise, outdoors, and animal friends, what isn’t there to love?!
