About the caregiver

Animals are my life. There has not been a year that I haven’t had one. From small critters like guinea pigs and hamsters to 100+ pound lap dogs I have done it all! I have an unconditional love for all animals, and that’s why I do what I do. Life just isn’t the same without them! I like to joke and say “I’m on call” for pet sitting. Family and friends reach out to me all the time to take care of their fur babies while they are away, and I gladly take up that offer every time:) I currently work at the Auburn Valley Humane Society. I have worked there for a over a year and a half. I am an “ACT” (Animal Care Technician). I provide daily necessary care to all animals that are housed at the shelter. I administer medications, and have experience with administering vaccinations. Working in a shelter environment has allowed me to gain so much knowledge. I have experience with shy animals, animals with behavioral issues, sick/injured, senior animals, and even newborns! These shelter animals need lots of love and patience, and that’s what motivates me to wake up every morning. These animals depend on me, and I’m there to make an everlasting impact on their lives. You can rest assured that your pet will be safe and comfortable with me!
