About the caregiver
Hello! I am Max I love dogs and grew up with Great Danes my whole life. I have my third one now but at one point owned two of them at once. So I feel pretty experienced with almost any dog breed. I’ve been walking dogs bigger than me since before I could walk. But I love small dogs as well and have taken classes with dogs on how to train, what behaviors to look for, and how to not scare dogs. I’m a sophomore in college just looking to make a little extra cash but can promise I’ll take good care of any dogs. I live with my parents so any overnights will be at their house with a fenced in yard and a pool if they like to swim. As I said before I have a 2 year old Great Dane who weighs 180 pounds but he has been to dog daycare himself many times so he has spent a considerable amount of time around smaller breeds. I feel comfortable allowing him around any dog he’s a big baby. But they will be spending a considerable amount of time together supervised by me or my family. I’m very active and love finding all kinds of cools spots so you will most likely receive a picture of your dog in a beautiful wooded area with a view at some point if your dog does stay the night.
Specialties
Caregivers Home
Large house, big front yard not fenced in. Medium sized fenced in backyard with a pool. Plenty of space for dogs who like thier own space. But always someone in my family around to hangout with if they like people. I have a sister and my dad and mom who all live here as well. We all grew up caring for dogs and are all experienced. A big part of my house is my Great Dane Dakoda. He’s 180 pounds and 2 years old, but he’s a big baby. He just loves people and dogs and is just happy to be anywhere. He went to daycare and has spent considerable amount of time with all breeds big and small. I’m comfortable with any dog coming around him, he’s smart and reads dogs well backs off and knows his size. We have extra bowls for a second dog but they are for my other old great Dane so they are big bowls. I have extra leashes as well. The house is on a street that’s perfect for walks so I will take them on one daily.
