About the caregiver

Hello this is Merna! I have been a pet lover since I was a child. I grew up in Cairo Egypt where street dogs are a very common thing to find everywhere, I was always the one kid walking in the neighbourhood giving street dogs food and petting them and even playing with them! :) I remember I would save some of my lunch/dinner so I could go out later and feed the dogs! When I moved to the United States with my parents about 11 years ago, I became an official dog owner, my first dog was Danny, a male Maltese. After he passed away my best friend surprised me with my current dog (Leo) a vizsla and pit bull mix who I have had for about 4 years now and he’s absolutely one of the best things that happened to me in life! :) I have walked and sat my friend’s and families dogs for free because i truly enjoy it and I decided to get out there and meet new dogs and pet owners that not only I could help but they will also help me mentally, emotionally and physically because let’s be honest, a dog is all you need to help you get through your day! :) I can’t wait to get to know your companion and I hope to make a new dog friend.
