About the caregiver

Hello there my name is mike, and I am a student whose end goal is to become a qualified zoologist. I have worked with a multitude of domestic and exotic animals, big and small. I love every critter no matter the size. I’m a very passionate human being who is driven towards the health and well-being of everything we coexist with. I previously worked in an animal sanctuary. I was responsible for walking 120lb wolves around the property, feeding and general maintenance, this wasn’t just restricted to wolves. As I worked with mountain lions, lynx’s, servals, alligators, snapping turtles, eagles, owls, mambas, cobras, foxes the list goes on. I also worked in an aquatic facility maintaining, and determining illness of various aquatic life. There’s the saying you are either a dog person or a cat person, but I’m just an every kind of animal person. I’m a very calm and reserved personality, and dogs seem to register that. I can be dominant if need be, but at my relaxed state I find that most animals sense and carry on with a happy mind. I commonly go on walks to stay healthy, my most recent being 19 miles, I figure if I’m going to go on walks anyways, why not do it with something I already cherish?
