About the caregiver

I like working with animals because I find fulfillment and joy in caring for them and ensuring their well-being. My love for animals also extends to reptiles, small critters and farm animals as well! I have two pets of my own: an aquatic turtle named Freddie and a small teacup chihuahua named Yoda. =] Besides having pets all my life, I have been a professional animal caretaker for thirteen years and hold a certification in Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid. My past experience with animals includes volunteer work with the Peninsula Humane Society and Nine Lives Foundation, and seven years working at a cat boarding and grooming facility as a Store Manager. I’m also experienced in administering medication such as pills, insulin, liquid drops, eye cream/drops and Subcutaneous fluids.
