First, a dog joke - "What type of market should you NEVER take your dog?" - "A FLEA MARKET" :) Well, howdy there! My name is Nat and I am passionate about dad jokes and dogs! Nice to meet you! About me: *I am experienced*: I have 20+ years experience working and living with dogs. When I was a child my parents rescued/fostered dogs and I helped look after them and cultivated a deep passion for animals. I have experience taking care of my own dogs (Chili and Chloe) and I look after my friends animals whenever I can. *I have flexible availability*: I recently moved to Austin and have flexible availability with capability to work overnight, weekends, early mornings + short term notice. I am particularly interested and available to work extended overnight stays and have OPEN availability during the holidays. *I am intentional and professional*: I provide compassionate and tender care + basic training in obedience and healthy boundary setting. *I lead an active lifestyle and work in the outdoor industry*: In my free time I lead backpacking trips for teens in California, I hike, run and rock climb. I work as an Outdoor Experiential Educator with teens/young adults and love being outside! *I love all dogs*: If you have a highly energetic dog, I'm your gal to look after them as I love to tire them out - I'm happy to take them on runs! If your dog likes to snooze, I'm there for them too :) I am reliable and committed and cannot wait to meet your doggie child!
