Growing up, I begged my parents for a dog for years, only to be told we had to win the lottery for that. Apparently "winning the lottery" means having my dad retire, because for one Christmas after he retired, they gifted me a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Wookiee! Since then, I have had experience walking him, caring for him, and dog-sitting other dogs, including two pugs and two border collies... all at the same time.
