About the caregiver

I am Rita, and I'm a dog lover. I used to have a dog named Josh, a Jack Russell Terrier—such a smart boy. I trained him well; he knew some American Sign Language, which we used to communicate. He loved playing outside. In my spare time, I taught other dogs American Sign Language while dog sitting. They learned to associate signs with toys, plays, and treats. I also taught some dogs to sit and wait, rewarding them with treats for their patience. Working with dogs is fun, and it's important to develop a good relationship with them.
