About the caregiver

With 20+ years of experience, I have seen and done it all when it comes to dog sitting. My specialty is anxious/aggressive dogs: if you’ve struggled finding a sitter due to behavior issues, I’m your gal! Additional experience: puppies (immediate post-birth 24 hour care —> training), kennel dogs (show dogs in need of socialization & rescues), senior dogs, and many medical issues. Since relocating from Boston, I completed all the dog handling trainings via the Charleston Animal Society. I work part time as a Veterinary Assistant at Foxbank Veterinary Hospital and dogsit here & for friends/neighbors. My schedule is flexible and changes often, so walks & drop-ins are easiest. I live with a roommate in a house with a yard and my service dog: she gets along with all dogs and has been used by my friends to help train their dogs. If your dog likes to play I’m happy to bring her, if not she’s taken care of by my roommate. I've never known a life without the company of a dog after growing up with German Shepards (my dad trained police dogs). I have experience with and love all types of dogs - each one will have my full in attention in the way that tailors to their unique personality.
