About the caregiver

Hey dog people (the best people)! To know me, is to know that I love dogs. It’s probably my biggest personality trait, my world is centered around them- pretty much every dog I meet at a friends house, on the street, at the dog park, etc is my new best friend. My husband & I currently have 3 dogs of our own. Boone, my oldest, is 8 years old, a total mutt, and over 65 lbs. He is so obedient, but with that, very protective of me. I have so much experience with him pulling on the leash, barking at other dogs & humans, and chasing after squirrels. Masey, the middle child, is an absolute sweetheart. She’s a golden retriever and is a timid walker. So, I also know how to handle a softer spoken dog’s behavior. Finally, along comes Charlie. He’s a golden retriever as well and only 9 months. He is a WILD one. My husband & I have learned a lot from this one, but we love him to death. Additionally, I grew up with my family dogs since the day I was born. I lived with my roommates’ dogs through college. And when I started dating my now husband, he had a dog named Penny. She was special, and needed a lot of extra care and attention due to health complications. We were there til the very end for her. Recently, I became dog safety certified through online courses and have my own first aid kit handy just in case anything unexpected happens. Long story short, I have tons of dog experience and you can 1000% trust me to love & take care of your fur baby.
