About the caregiver

I grew up around dogs, especially big breeds. My most recent family pet being a German shepherd. I am currently employed as a veterinary assistant. I have my bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology with a specialization in wildlife rehabilitation, so I have been around animals in a medical sense for about 3 years. I love all dogs and especially love our large furry friends. I love to play with dogs. I am more than happy to play with them in the comfort of their own home or in their back yard. I would love to walk them around your area or take them to local parks if need be (let me know how they ride in the car before hand). I love to stimulate their mind as well, especially for our working breeds, so if you have any trained skills that you would like for me to use I would be more than happy to put those into our time together. I also love mind puzzles for them so if you have any specific toys or tasks that they typically do, let me know. Please also let me know if your furry friend has any behaviors that I should know about. Especially in regards to walking/interactions with other people and or animals. That way I can be the most prepared to help keep your pet out of bad experiences. Let me know if there are any health concerns to worry about as well such as arthritis, bad joints, illness etc that way I know not to push them too hard during our play time. For my safety I do ask if you can provide me proof of rabies vaccination.
