About the caregiver

Hi! My name is Val. I have been an active caregiver through wag for about 3 years allowing me to become experienced in boarding, drop in visits and recurring walks. In my spare time I work as a transporter for foster puppies to forever homes through an adoption agency that solely works on rescuing dogs of all ages from the Caribbean Island of Saint Lucia. My current residence is at the end of a cul-de-sac with a big open field perfect for a playtime located Norwalk, Connecticut. My husband and I often petsit, housesit and offer shuttle services to veterinary hospital if need be. I am comfortable working with a variety of animals, including horses, dogs, cats, rabbits as well as reptiles. My past jobs include me working as a vet tech assistant and primarily worked in pet boarding facilities, doggie day camps as well as animal hospitals. I will ensure that I arrive on time, walk for the exact time intended, be highly manageable and most importantly, be respectful to both your pup and home!
