About the caregiver

Hi, I'm Val and I've been around dogs all my life. I grew up in Southern California and the first memory I have of of one of our dogs when I was very little was Sandy, a golden lab, tugboating me around at the lake. Over the years my family has had dogs of all shapes and sizes, mostly rescues, one of my favorites being Chablis the Australian Shepard when I was a young teen. I moved up here to Washington when I was 18, with Shadow, my black lab bull mastiff mix. I've always loved helping train our dogs and find myself reading up (or watching videos) on tips and tricks all the time. Our dog now is a 2 year old Golden Doodle who loves cuddling and greeting us with toys so we can play with him. I'm an open book so if there's anything you'd like to learn about me please ask. I'd love to come meet your fur babies and hopefully help you with your dog's needs.
