The Rover's Run Dog Park is a pawsome spot to take your pup for some off leash fun, and a great place to meet some new friends. The dog park offers benches for owners to sit on, two covered areas, water fountains for owners and dogs, agility equipment, and a walking path around the entire park. There is also a separate area of the park that owners can use as a designated training area. The park is open from dawn until dusk, but to get into the park, you must be a member and pay a fee.

Gateway Estate South

Grab Fido and head over to the Gateway Estate South neighborhood for a plethora of great places to grab a bite to eat with your furry friend by your side. Noodles and Company dishes out tons of different noodle inspired dishes, including a Thai green curry with shrimp option. Steak 'n Shake serves specialty burgers that are made with steak. If you both want to get your wings on, then head into Buffalo Wild Wings and choose from their huge selection of sauces to top your wings. All of these great eateries offer dog friendly patios and love when Fido joins you for a meal.

West Greeley

Hiking is a great activity to do with your pup by your side, and luckily, Greeley has a trail the two of you can enjoy. The Poudre River Trail is 21-miles of hiking and trail exploring fun. All 21-miles of the trail are paved, making it easier on beginners. If you and Fido decide to extend your hike, this trail connects to the Larimer County's River Bluff's Open Space where you can continue to explore together. The trail includes informational signs about the many different historical sites you will see on the trail, just remember to bring water and clean-up bags with you.

St Michael's Square

If you and Fido are walking around the St. Michael's Square neighborhood, grab a bite to eat at The Tavern at St. Michael's Square. This pawsome eatery is a casual bar that dishes out a wide variety of food. Choose from great selections like pizza, seafood, chicken, or steak. Locals love being able to go in and grab a beer and good food after a long day. They have a dog friendly patio and welcome your pup to sit with you as you enjoy your meal. 

The Ridge at Prairie View

Three miles out of Greeley is the Freedom Dog Park in Evans. Fido will love the short drive and the opportunity to explore a new dog park. The Freedom Dog Park offers separate areas for large and small dogs, drinking fountains, tons of grass for fetch and rolling, and agility equipment for those more adventurous dogs. If your dog isn't a fan of grass, he's in luck since there is also a gravel area for dogs to walk and play on. The park also offers a few tables for owners to sit on, but there is not a lot of shade, so watch your dog in the hotter months. Don't forget your clean-up bags when visiting.
