East Milliken

For a pawsitively furrific time in town, head to the East Milliken neighborhood! This pawrific area is home to Centennial Park and Lake! Leash your dog and make a few laps on the .63-mile trail that loops around the calm and scenic waters. There are woofderful views from the fishing dock, plus picnic tables and restrooms. If your furry friend is still in need of more exercise, check out the park’s off-leash area, the Milliken Dog Park! This fully enclosed grassy haven provides a place for your pooch to socialize and burn off any extra energy! This neighborhood is also home to Sappington Park, another great spot for walking Fido on the park’s walking path.

North Milliken

Country roads, downtown streets and two parks is what you and your pup will find in the North Milliken neighborhood! This neighborhood encompasses a residential area is intermingled with farmland, which means you can enjoy views of a few lush fields and mature trees while walking your leashed dog on quiet residential sidewalks. On your walk, you’ll pass by the iconic North Quentine Park which houses Milliken’s frequently photographed “welcome” sign that stands next to a windmill. Also in this neighborhood, you’ll find another woofderful community green space at Avila Park. Located just behind Milliken’s Town Hall, it’s a furrific place to stop after a walk through the downtown area.

Central Milliken

There’s lots of fun for the whole family in Central Milliken! This neighborhood’s parks includes Lola Park, a woofderful spot to visit with your two and four-legged children! Take a stroll with your leashed dog through this big, open grassy park and see what there is to sniff around the mature trees that also offer plenty of shade. There is a pawsome covered picnic area, plus a playground, horseshoe pits and barbecue grills. It’s easy to see why Lola Park is pawpular for family gatherings! Ada Park is another furrific place to visit in the area. The park has lots of open green space, a large playground, a basketball court and a picnic area. This neighborhood is also home to Fireman’s Park.

South Milliken

If you and Fido are on a mission to get in shape, head to the South Milliken neighborhood! This area’s Milliken Fitness Park is a woofderful place to get moving with your leashed pup by your side! The grassy park has a paved .125-mile loop where you and your pup can get in some laps. There are also 10 fitness stations along the way to help you work out! This neighborhood is also where you’ll find Mountain View Park. Located in a residential area, this park is furrific for playtime in the grass or a walk on the neighborhood’s sidewalks. The park also has a playground, picnic tables, athletic fields and restrooms.

West Milliken

Grass is the name of the game in the West Milliken neighborhood! You and your leashed furry friend will love visiting both parks in this residential neighborhood and their huge open grassy areas! First, check out the larger Florence Park! You and your pooch can romp and play in this park’s wide open green space, or bring a blanket and enjoy soaking up some rays with Fido by your side. Just a few blocks away, you’ll find West Forest Street Park. Though a little smaller in size, West Forest Street Park also has a huge playfield! Both parks have playgrounds where kiddos can frolic.
