Jungle Terrace
Located 10 minutes north of South Pasadena is St. Petersburg’s Jungle Terrace neighborhood, where your pup will be excited to play in Walter Fuller Dog Park! This dog park has two separate sections; one is for small dogs, and the other is for large dogs. This off-leash dog park features plenty of room for your pooch to run around and drinking fountains for your pup to cool off with. There’s also plenty of seating for dog moms and dads. While this is an off-leash dog park, your dog will need a leash to explore the rest of Walter Fuller Park.

Historic Kenwood
St. Petersburg’s Historic Kenwood neighborhood is home to Kenwood Dog Park, and it’s located less than 15 minutes away from South Pasadena. This large dog park is one that locals can’t stop raving about! This dog park spans nearly three acres, giving Fido a chance to run around with all the new fur-iends he’s sure to make. There’s also plenty of shady seating for you. Make sure to bring your own waste disposal bags, though, as none are provided. This is an off-leash dog park that’s completely fenced in, so your pup can play and stay secure.

Northern Pinellas Park
Located 10 miles northeast of South Pasadena is Northern Pinellas Park, where you and Fido will have fun playing at Freedom Lake Dog Park. This dog park has two sections; one is for small dogs, while the other is for larger and more energetic dogs. Freedom Lake Dog Park has plenty of room for your pooch to run around and burn off any pent up energy, but if you’re not in the mood to run around with him, enjoy one of the shady benches and relax. This off-leash bark park has waste disposal bags on hand.

Rosetree Place
Located 20 minutes from South Pasadena is Seminole’s Rosetree Place neighborhood, where you’ll find two fun things you can do with Fido! Make sure you check out Boca Ciega Millennium Dog Park, which has plenty of room for your pooch to run around off of his leash. He’s sure to make plenty of new friends and have a ball. If your dog prefers solitary activities, check out the Fred Marquis Pinellas Trail, which has an access point in Seminole. He can join you on the trail; just make sure to bring a leash and waste disposal bags.

Sunset Beach
Treasure Island’s Sunset Beach, located 3 miles southwest of South Pasadena, has plenty of dog-friendly dining options, so if you’re looking for somewhere to eat with your pooch, consider making the journey! If you want a classic bar and grill, check out Toasted Monkey; you can chow down on some delicious food while your dog joins you on the spacious patio. For dessert, head to Larry’s Olde Fashioned Ice Cream and Gelato for a sweet treat; we’re sure your dog would love some, too. There are numerous other options, but remember: A leash is required at all establishments.
