You have got to check out the dog friendly eateries when you are in Litchfield! The pawsome Coffee Xpresso is where you can grab a hot or iced coffee, as well as choose one of the tasty baked treats for a snack. There are also two outdoor tables where you can chill out with your beloved companion. If your pooch has been a good boy or girl, then you have got to head to Dairy Queen for a reward! Here you can order a special pup cup for your furry friend, while you enjoy a hotdog, burger, sandwich or fries. There is also an outdoor bench when you are sit back and watch the world go by with your pup.

This was the first trail created in Montgomery County, and it enjoys its name from the historic train that journeyed along the Illinois Central Railroad up until the late 1940s. There are just over four furrific miles you can explore with your canine by your side. Wander through the trees and head over the Macoupin Creek to stretch your pooch’s legs!
