Edwardsville is a little less than 30 minutes from Granite City. With one dog park and six trails, Edwardsville has a lot to offer the dog community. The highly-rated Joe Glik Park is a unique experience for all dogs. With trees placed throughout the park, shaded areas are numerous within the bounds of the park to accommodate all dog and owner needs. Areas are specified for children, so you can either bring your kids to play with Fido or go to the opposite side of the park and let Fido off to play without worry about children getting knocked over. The park is fenced for safe play for dogs of all sizes.

O'Fallon

O’Fallon offers a beautifully spacious dog park, and is located about 40 minutes from Granite City. Rated highly, Rock Springs Dog Park is a fantastic adventure just waiting to happen. With two fenced-in acres of park, your dog can safely play off-leash with other park-going dogs. This park is big enough for a few games of fetch and for frolicking in the grassy fields with new buddies.
