However, since this park is nearly thirty acres in size, you may want to keep your furry friend on a leash as it is easy to get separated in all that space. This park is the perfect place to have a picnic while your dog runs around. Take a good book, sandwich and plenty of doggie toys to make a day of it!

If you drive approximately forty miles from your home in Cahokia, you’ll arrive in the city of O’Fallon. While you’re here, make sure to visit the Rock Springs Park. It welcomes dogs of all sizes and breeds. It also has plenty of trails that you and your most loyal companion can walk and run on. Furthermore, the park also has an agility course that your dog can train and play on. The park also has plenty of amenities, such as watering spots and trash cans. And the best part? The park is off-leash so your dog can run and play freely!

If you live in Cahokia, you are extremely lucky, as you live approximately seventeen miles from the city of Belleville, which is home to not one, but two dog parks! The first park you need to visit is the Belleville Dog Park, a small 2.5-acre park. Everyone that visits the park must provide proof of dog vaccinations. The second park you need to take your dog to is the Stookey Township Park. This park has plenty of grass, trees and benches. Both parks are completely off-leash so your dog will have a wonderful roaming around while you sit back and relax!

Located only twenty-five miles from Cahokia is Scott Air Force Base. Scott Air Force Base is home to a small dog park with two zones: one for small dogs and the other for large dogs. Both sides of the park have their own picnic tables and benches. The park also has plenty of amenities for dogs, such as doggie poop bags, water fountains and trash cans. At only fifteen miles from Cahokia is the city of Swansea. It is home to the Swansea Dog Park, a completely off-leash, fenced-in dog park. This bare-bones park is large and open to dogs of all sizes and breeds. There is plenty of space for your dog to run freely and enjoy being in nature. You should take your own poop bags, toys and water, as the park does not provide any. When you’re done playing at the park, put your dog on a leash and walk around the beautiful city. You will not regret your drive to Swansea!
