St Louis Hills

St. Louis Hills is about five miles north of Bella Villa. The Southwest City Dog Park at Willmore Park is located off Jamieson Avenue. This dog park has over an acre of fully fenced grass for some off leash exercise and socialization. There is a separate area for the small dogs. The large dog enclosure has a few pieces of agility equipment for training or some extra fun and exercise. Willmore Park is one of the established St. Louis City parks, and it has many nice large shade trees, as well as benches for the human companions to sit and relax while their pups play. Water is also available at the park, but you'll need to bring your own waste bags. This dog park requires annual membership and a fee paid to the homeowner’s association that manages it.

Sunset Hills

Sunset Hills is ten miles southwest of Bella Villa. The Kitun Dog Park has over an acre of fully fenced grassy space for the area dogs to sniff out a pal or two. There is a separate enclosure for the small dogs for safer play, as well as a water fountain for dogs and people. Benches provide a place for the human companions to sit under a bit of shade and supervise their pups at play. There are waste stations, and waste baggies are fully stocked for convenient cleanups. Dogs have a few pieces of agility equipment to train on. What more could you want? This dog park requires an annual membership and fee. Crestwood and Sunset Hills residents have a reduced fee.

City Limits

The city limits of Ballwin is fifteen miles west of Bella Villa. The Tails & Trails dog park at Queeny Park has over five acres of fenced enclosure for dogs to get off their leash and stretch their legs. There is a separate area for the small dogs. Dogs have access to a creek and a lake, so be sure to pack a towel or two if you plan to let them swim! There are four pieces of permanent agility equipment for extra fun. A pavilion provides shade and wi-fi for the human companions while their pups enjoy the freedom. There are numerous waste stations scattered throughout the park, and drinking water is also available. Visitors must register and pay an annual fee to St. Louis County prior to using the dog park.

City Limits

The city limits of Creve Coeur is twenty miles west of Bella Villa, but the short drive is well worth it for The Dog Park at Conway Park. This 2.5-acre fully fenced enclosure is a dog's dream! Small pups can run and romp in a separate, half-acre section. There is water available on-site, including a hose for rinsing off. A bone-shaped kiddie pool makes for a cool splash down on those hot summer days. Doggie waste bags are also supplied by the dog park, so all you need to bring is Fido's favorite toy. You'll also find a nice walking trail around the lake in the main park. This gives a person and a leashed dog a bit of together time for exercising. This park requires a fee and registration at the city of Creve Coeur prior to use.

Arnold City Limits

Fifteen miles south of Bella Villa, you'll find not one, but two pawesome dog parks: The Paw Parks at the City Park and Ferd B. Lang Park! Each has an acre of fully fenced space for dogs to run and play leash-free. Both parks have separate areas for small dogs, as well as drinking water available on site. There are nicely shaded benches for the human companions to sit and watch while their dog makes a new pal or two. Waste baggies are fully stocked, so you won't need to worry about bringing anything but your sense of adventure! The paw parks are free and open to the public. They open one half hour before sunrise, and close one half hour after sunset.
