Kellogg Park is home to the Maplewood Dog Park, a pawsome dog park to take Fido to. Maplewood Dog Park is fenced in and has separate areas for large and small breeds. The park offers running water, plenty of shade, and even a pool for those extra hot days! There are even amenities for people, including benches to sit on and restrooms. You do have to have a membership before entering this park, and you need to show proof that your dog has been fully vaccinated too. Locals love how friendly the other dogs are and say their dogs are always leaving worn out and content.

Manchester Rd/ Mitchelle Ave

If you and your pup are roaming around Maplewood and get a growly tummy, stop by two of the dog friendly restaurants located on Manchester Ave. Colombo’s Café and Tavern serves tasty burgers, sandwiches and pizza. They have plenty of outdoor seating and welcome your dog to join you as you snack on some good food and enjoy a beer. Failoni’s Restaurant and Bar serves burgers, meatball subs, grilled tilapia, and pizza. Their outdoor patio is dog friendly on certain days of the week, and the staff loves when your dog comes and hangs out while you enjoy your dinner.

Manhattan

Piccadilly at Manhattan is a great dog friendly restaurant to stop by if you and your pup are enjoying the Manhattan neighborhood and get the urge to eat. This American grill has a huge dog friendly patio and the staff loves when your dog comes and eat with you. Piccadilly at Manhattan offers smoked pork chops, beef pot pies, Cajun pasta, and fried chicken. Locals rave about the great tasting food but love that the staff is mainly made up of dog lovers. Once you’re done eating you and your pup can take a nice walk through Manhattan and enjoy the evening.

Lindbergh Dr/ Bruno Ave

Lindbergh Park is a great park to take your dog to for a nice walk or jog and to get out for the day. The park offers a paved path to walk on, plus tons of green fields for fetch or grass rollies. The park is on the smaller side, but that also means it is less populated and your dog can have more time to roam around and sniff in peace. The park also offers a small community garden that is fenced in, and they are always looking for more gardeners to join them. The park also offers a few picnic benches to sit down and relax while you are enjoying the park.

Hanley Industrial Ct/ S Hanley Rd

On the outskirts of Maplewood is the town of Brentwood. Through the town flows the Black Creek, along which is located the Oaktree Park, a great park to bring your pup to for a fun hike or just to sniff around. The park has an asphalt trail to enjoy, and if you would rather sit and people watch, there are also lots of benches to relax on. Along the trail are tons of trees that help provide shade, and dog waste baggies are available if you forget to bring yours. Further up the Creek, you’ll find other lovely parks to explore, including Rosalie/Eulalie Park, Hanley Park, and Memorial Park.
