Herculaneum

Herculaneum is a small town that takes care of its furry friends at All Bark Village Dog Park. This large, grassy field is fully fenced so dogs can rid themselves of their leash and make a few new canine pals. The ground is mostly grass, with concrete pads set aside complete with hoses to rinse away a hard day of play. Parts of the dog park do get muddy after a rain, so the rinse area is a convenient way to keep the car clean for the ride home. Water fountains designed for humans and dogs also include a top section that makes it easy to refill a water bottle. Waste stations are positioned around the dog park. The dog park has a separately fenced area for small dogs to play as well as benches where pet parents can relax while supervising their pups. This dog park is free and open to the public a half hour before sunrise, and closes a half hour after sunset.

Arnold

Arnold is located fourteen miles north of Herculaneum. Arnold has two Paw Parks for area dogs to run and socialize off-leash. One is located in the City Park and the other is located in Ferd B. Lang Park. They are identical in set-up and features. A large grassy space is fully fenced for large dogs, and a separate smaller section is reserved for the small pups. Drinking water for dogs and their people is available, and waste baggies are supplied in convenient spots around the area of the park. Human companions have plenty of places from which to sit and supervise their dogs. The main parks offer other opportunities for some on-leash exercise. Picnic sites can also be found for a quick outdoor snack or lunch with a four-legged friend.

Sunset Hills

Twenty-five miles north of Herculaneum you'll find Kitun Dog Park, a pupular place for pups to hang out and find friends of their own kind. It has two acres of fully-fenced green grass for off-leash freedom. Small dogs have their own separate safe space. Agility equipment can be found in the large dog section. Pet parents can squeeze in a few training activities, or dogs can just poke a curious nose and paw at the equipment and give it a go. Other amenities include water for people and pups, waste stations stocked with waste bags, and benches for the humans. Registration and a fee must be paid to Sunset Hills or Crestwood prior to visiting.

Kirkwood

Kirkwood is located twenty-seven miles north of Herculaneum. Treecourt Unleashed Dog Adventure Park is a paradise playground for dogs of all kinds! This nine-acre tract of land is fully fenced for dogs to exercise and explore. A smaller area lets the small dogs play in their own safe spot. Trees are planted throughout the dog park and around the perimeter. Numerous benches give people a chance to watch and enjoy their pup having fun with a new pack. The dog park features water activities in the hot months, like sprinklers and kiddie pools. A natural creek runs through the middle of the property, and dogs enjoy sniffing it out and sticking a paw or two in it! This dog park is privately owned and requires a monthly membership.

St Louis Hills

St. Louis Hills is located twenty-seven miles north of Herculaneum. Southwest City Dog Park can be found within Wilmore Park. It has over an acre of fully-fenced grass for dogs to have a howlin' good time. Small dogs have their own separate section just for them. Drinking water is available at the dog park for pups and their people, and waste stations have good supplies of doggie waste baggies. People can relax on benches under mature shade trees. In the hot months, kiddie pools add to the fun and cool the pups down. The main park has several walkways for on-leash exercise, in addition to picnic sites and two fishing lakes. The dog park is maintained by the Homeowner's Association, and visitors must register and pay a fee to use the dog park.
