Sullivan City Limits

Sullivan offers travelers many places to stay while traveling with their pups. Comfort Inn, located on South Service Road, welcomes up to two dogs no more than 40 pounds for a fee of $15 per dog per night. Also located on the South Service Road, America's Best Value Inn allows up to two dogs no more than 50 pounds for a charge of $5 per dog per night. Sullivan takes care of the hungry travelers, too! Boomers Sports Bar and Grill has three outdoor, dog-friendly tables. Boomers serves a variety of tasty burgers and pizza in a casual atmosphere and is open for lunch and dinner.

Saint Clair City Limits

Saint Clair is located sixteen miles north of Sullivan, and is a great pit stop for those traveling along Interstate 44. People traveling with a furry family member or two have a couple of dog-friendly lodging options to choose from here. Budget Lodging, located on South Outer Road, welcomes up to two dogs of any size for a fee of $25 per night Another option located on the same road is Super 8. The Super 8 allows a traveler to stay with one dog, as long as it weighs no more than fifty pounds, and charges a fee of $10 per night.

Union City Limits

Union is located twenty-four miles north of Sullivan. The city of Union maintains a free dog park for leash-free canine fun! The K-9-n-Kiddos Park is a dual-purpose park. Furry family members play on one side, and the furless family members on the other! Parents of both have seats in between. The dog park offers a grassy, fully-fenced space to run and make some canine pals. A separately fenced space takes care of the small dogs. One side of the park has children's playground equipment, and the other has agility equipment. No water is available here, but waste baggies (for dogs) are supplied by the park.

Washington City Limits

Washington is located thirty-one miles north of Sullivan. Burger Park, located on Industrial Avenue, is a pawesome place for a cooped-up pup to burn some energy! Burger has a fully-fenced patch of ground for a dog's off-leash exercise and play. A double-gated entry keeps those little tearaways from trying to escape. Dogs of all sizes play together in this dog run -- there are no separate areas. Drinking water and a waste station are available at the park. The dog run lacks places for people to sit, though. Please note the park operates on a seasonal schedule. It is free and open to the public; hours are sunrise to sunset.

South Point

The South Point neighborhood of Washington is located thirty-two miles north of Sullivan. South Point Bark Park welcomes dogs from all over to experience the city of Washington's first year-round dog park. This dog park features 1.5 acres of ground dedicated to off-leash fun! The dog park has a natural terrain of grass and is landscaped with shade trees. Waste baggies are amply stocked. The community has big plans to add fencing for a small dog area, as well as drinking water and a pavilion. This dog park is free and open to the public. It operates year-round from dawn to dusk.
