Eisenhower Park
At a whopping 930 acres, Eisenhower Park is one of the largest parks in the metropolitan New York area, and it's even bigger than Central Park in NYC. Eisenhower Park is only a 35-minute drive from East Northport, in Westbury, New York. Within Eisenhower Park is the Eisenhower Dog Park, and you won't want to miss it. This park is almost an acre in size, and it has big and small dog sections that have separate entrances. There is also a water fountain, doggy waste cleanup supplies, and seating all located within the dog park, so you'll have everything you'll need while you're here.36

Boyle Road
Selden is a hamlet in New York with a population of around 20,000 people. They even have their very own dog park, referred to as either the Selden Dog Park or as the Boyle Road Dog Park. This park has separate sections for big and small dogs, and for added fun, there are little obstacle courses and agility equipment in the park. The Selden Dog Park is 57,000 square feet, and included in that space is also seating, doggy doo bags, and water bowls. One thing the park doesn't have is a water source, so make sure you bring your own supply.24

South Copiague
In a little bit more than a half an hour, you can drive from East Northport to Copiague, New York. In South Copiague, there's a place called Tanner Park. Tanner Park often holds community events, including concerts. It also has a fishing pier, a splash park, food service, and sports fields. In addition to those great features, Tanner Park has its own dog park! The Tanner Park Dog Run has marked sections for big and small dogs as well as seating for owners. Tanner Park has activities for the whole family to enjoy, and you won't want to miss experiencing it with your dog.12

It takes less than a half an hour to get from East Northport to Sayville, New York. In West Sayville, there's a dog park called Cherry Avenue. The Cherry Avenue Dog Park is a pretty large park at 1.5 acres, and in that space, there are large and small dog sections. Not only is the fence around this park four feet high, but the entrances are also gated so you can take comfort in knowing your dog is safely contained in the park at all times. There are also soccer fields and a playground nearby, so there are activities for everyone in your family.
