Melvin Miller Park
Melvin Miller Park is a green retreat in the western part of North Urbana which is home to Urban Parks and Recreation area, the Municipal Pool and Fido’s Field, which is a 2.5-acre fenced dog park for every canine visitor regardless of size or temperament. The park was created thanks to the local community’s initiative, and now features two designated areas for pups under and over 25 lbs., making socializing experience especially pleasant for dogs as much as for their owners. You will also find some benches, shaded areas and doggie drinking fountains for thirsty canines tired of chasing each other or playing fetch. Don’t fur-get to bring some waste bags!36

The park is fully fenced and features 4 acres of off-leash joy, offering pawed paths, benches, lots of grass, trees, and hills. Daree Fields Parks is a green recreation area located in the western part of Dublin, far from its downtown. This park features a number of outdoor activities and has a specially designated fenced area for dogs – Nando’s Dog Park. You can’t say that the dog park is spacious, but there is a separate area for small breeds to play and frisk, as well as drinking water, several benches and even a picnic area for having a nice day out or sharing a sandwich together. You will also find some simple agility equipment for exercising! In bad or rainy weather, the park may get muddy, so do take some water with you to wash your bud’s paws off before heading home.12
