Take Fido out to the Loyalsock State Forest for an amazing time out with you. This 114,552-acre forest is filled with amenities that your dog will love, including picnicking, kayaking, fishing, hunting, and camping. Take a good hike with your furry pal on the Haystacks and Dutchman Falls Trail. This dogtastic trail is 6.2-miles long with a 754-foot elevation gain, and on out and back route. While hiking this beautiful trail, you and Fido will come across the Haystack Rapids where you can get some water and cool down and eventually you will come across the Dutchman Falls, which is a magnificent waterfall. When you are exploring this trail with your furry friend remember to keep him on a leash the entire time. This trail is perfect for anyone since it has a small elevation gain and the trail is clearly marked, making it easier to travel along and not get lost.

Forksville
If Fido is looking for an adventure, check out the Worlds End State Park. This gorgeous 780-acre park is filled with amazing amenities for you and Fido. Enjoy picnicking, swimming, fishing, and camping at this great park. There are hiking trails that run throughout that park, but make sure to keep your dog on a leash while you hike. The park has a creek that runs throughout that Fido can splash around in and cool off before you continue exploring this great area. For something smaller, the Forksville Borough Community Park is a great park you can visit with your dog. The park offers basketball courts, a soccer field, benches to sit on, a pavilion for shade, and plenty of grass for fetch. Located only thirteen miles out of Dushore in Forksville, your pup will love being in this park with you.24
Ulster
Take Fido out to the Hornbrook Park for a fun afternoon out with you. The park offers great amenities for you and Fido including a playground that is fenced in, plenty of open grass space, and a great paved walking path that you can use for a good walk with your furry pal. The park doesn't offer any shade, so make sure to bring plenty of water along with you when visiting and don't forget to keep your dog on a leash when you head out to this park. Located in Ulster and only twenty miles out of Dushore, your pup will love hanging out at this park.12

The Ricketts Glen State Park is an amazing 13,050-acre park that is known for its 20+ waterfalls, including the Ganoga Falls which has a height of 94-feet. With amenities like swimming, picnicking, boating, fishing, and hunting, your dog will love visiting this park with you. The park is filled with numerous different trails that you and your dog can get a good walk in on, but make sure to keep your pup on a leash while you do so. This pawsome park is located in Benton, and only eighteen miles out of Dushore. Your pup will love visiting this park and walking through the overgrown timber woods.Eagles Mere
