West Bethlehem (West Side)
The Monocacy Dog Park in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania is just a 20-minute drive from Macungie, and it has a lot to offer you and your pooch. This off-leash dog park has not one, not two, but three separate sections! Monocacy Dog Park's 1.5 acres are split into a big dog section, a small dog section, and a general section for dogs of all sizes to play. There are also waste disposal supplies provided by the park, as well as water fountains and bowls, but be advised the water is turned off in the winter. Monocacy Dog Park also has shaded areas, benches, and lighting if you plan to visit at night.36

West End
Western Pottstown, Pennsylvania is only 20 miles south of Macungie, and this is also where you'll find Pottstown Bark Park. Located within Memorial Park, Pottstown Bark Park is an off-leash park where dogs of all sizes can interact in the same space, and they aren't separated by weight. This dog park requires purchasing a $15 annual membership and providing proof of your dog's vaccinations before you can enter. You'll love that the park provides visitors with waste disposal supplies and water bowls, but be sure to bring your own water to fill the bowls. The park also has shaded areas and seating.

Nazareth is a borough in Northampton County, Pennsylvania with a population of more than 5,000 people, and it's only about 20 miles from Macungie. North Nazareth is home to the Nazareth Borough Dog Park, which has been voted the most popular dog park in the area. This off-leash park includes a section just for dogs who weigh less than 25 pounds, as well as an area for bigger dogs. Nazareth Dog Park is free to use, and there are dog toys and water bowls inside of the park, but make sure to bring your own supply of water. If you visit after it rains, make sure to bring a towel for your dog because visitors note that this dog park can get quite muddy.12

South Hellertown
Southern Hellertown, Pennsylvania is 20 miles east of Macungie, and it's also where the Polk Valley Dog Park is located. This off-leash dog park sits on more than an acre of land, and it includes separate big and small dog sections. Polk Valley Dog Park is open every day from dawn to dusk, and it's free to use, but dogs must be licensed and vaccinated to visit the park, and visitors are limited to bringing two dogs at a time. Like most dog parks in the area, you'll need to bring your own drinking water for your dog when you visit Polk Valley Dog Park.
