The Factory

The Factory at Franklin is a friendly area with plenty of things to do for dogs and dog owners alike! Nestled in the center of this neighborhood is Harlinsdale Farm, which is home to an off leash dog park that’s open to all dogs. Called simply The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, this fenced in park comes with a water fountain for your pooches to quench their thirst, and benches for owners to rest. There isn’t a lot of shade in this park, so go on days when it’s not too hot out to avoid discomfort. Aside from the dog park, the park comes with tons of natural trails to explore and scenic routes to travel down. Your dog is sure to have an absolute blast!

Chestnut Bend

Chestnut Bend is a lovely neighborhood with an open community. It’s located around Maggie's Bark Park, a fenced in area for dogs of all shapes and sizes. This park is divided into large dog and small dog sections for your pooches to run and play off leash in a gorgeous natural area. If that isn’t enough, there’s also an agility course to test your dog's physical and mental prowess.  Cool down from your visit on the quarter mile walking trail before heading home. Remember to leash your dog on the walking trail, as that part isn’t fenced in!

West Main Street

West Main Street is a bustling area that’s located just west of downtown. Home to the sizable Jim Warren park, there’s plenty to do for dogs and dog owners alike! Centered around a pond is the park’s walking trail, which winds through the prettiest areas and features gorgeous scenery unmatched anywhere else in the neighborhood. This nearly 60 acre park has plenty of field space for your pup to run, and comes complete with strategically placed shade trees and benches. Be aware that a main road runs through this park, so cars will pass through on occasion. Keep toward the center of the park to avoid traffic.

McKay's Mill

McKay's Mill is a pleasant neighborhood that lays claim to Liberty Park, a lovely natural area with shaded trails that wind through gorgeous, scenic views. Inside the park itself is another park dubbed Freedom Run Dog Park, an off leash area that’s fenced in so your pups can run to their heart’s content. The park is split into a large and small dog area, with shade predominantly on the small dog side. There are water fountains available, so you and your pup have open access to water on those hotter days. This park is guaranteed to be pawfuls of fun!
