South Janesville
If you're looking to make unfurgettable memories with your pup in a secure fenced area, you should consider visiting Paw Print Park. This 17-acre dog park is located in South Janesville, around 27 miles away from Fort Atkinson. There is water available for both the doggies and the human visitors, and the park also provides a hose to rinse off Fido after all that playing. Pups can play in one of two separate areas for small and large breeds, and there is a double-gated security system in place. Your canine companion will love running, playing, and chasing his new furry friends at this grassy park!

Looking for a dog park closer to home? Ten miles away from Fort Atkinson, you'll find Terri Tinsley Dog Park, which is one of the largest dog parks in the state! The park has four areas that cover 109 acres in total! There are two large fenced areas for small dogs and two large fenced areas for large dogs. The park charges an entry fee of $5 per dog, but many regulars think it's very worth it. Your pup can have plenty of fun here, playing hide and seek in the tall grass, running around the numerous trees, or walking on the trails! There is water available for humans and doggos, and waste bags are supplied as well.

E Racine St
Palmer Park Off Leash Dog Area is an off-leash, designated doggie area that is located in East Janesville, around 22 miles away from Fort Atkinson. The area is not fenced, so if you have a puppy that tries to run away, this might not be the right place for you. There are multiple trails that you can walk on that are far from the traffic, so even if you do have a runner, you can always enjoy a leashed stroll here! The area is pretty natural and wild, filled with trees and grass. There is even a small river that runs through this furrific spot! Make sure you bring water, waste bags, bug spray, and tick repellent.

East Whitewater
If you'd feel more comfortable letting your dog off-leash in a fenced area, then you should check out the Whitewater Bark Park. This park is located in East Whitewater, approximately 12 miles away from Fort Atkinson. Dogs have to be licensed to enter, and the daily entry fee is $5. Here, you'll find designated areas for small and large dogs, and a different area for dog owners who want to train their pups. There is plenty of room for running around and plenty of doggos to socialize with. You should bring water and poop bags along with you when visiting this park.
West Milton
Thirteen miles southwest of Fort Atkinson is another pawesome park, called Milton Dog Park, which is located in West Milton. The 15-acre park has designated zones for large and small pups. There's also a small playground for children, which makes this is the perfect place for a family day! There's also a washing station for the dogs during the warmer months, and you'll find a great walking trail in one of the fenced areas if you're just looking for a quick walk. If you want to train your pup, there's a K-9 agility equipment course where you can do so. Just don't forget to bring some water and waste bags with you.
