The park itself has a number of trails in it, but the best part is that Cherry Creek Trail connects with other parks and trails, giving you almost limitless places to walk throughout the greater area.
Unlike walking on the streets through Virginia Village, these trails have generous amounts of greenway along them which allow your pup the option of walking on grass rather than hard and possibly hot surfaces.
Garland Park is also accessible through this trail system just to the northeast of the neighborhood while one smaller park, City of Potenza Park, is also connected.
