The bustling city of Atlanta is the unofficial cultural epicenter of the South. With tons of museums, art galleries, and shops to see, it’s no wonder pet parents want to find somewhere to wind down after a long day of exploring — and what better way to relax with Fido than with a glass of chardonnay in hand? We’ve compiled a list of 5 dog-friendly bars in Atlanta you absolutely “mutts” visit!

City Winery

City Winery on North Avenue is an upscale bar, restaurant, and music venue all wrapped up into one. Relax with Fido and a glass of pinot on the dog-friendly patio while you chow down on City Winery's scratch-made food. City Winery has an ever-changing menu that's sure to delight any day of the week.

If wine isn’t your cup of tea, you’ll be happy to know that City Winery also carries a wide range of beers and hard ciders. You can even bring along a bottle of dog wine and some treats so Fifi can join in on the fun.

Der Biergarten

If you’re looking for respite from the ordinary, Der Biergarten on Marietta street is it. Enjoy views of downtown Atlanta from the patio while you and your woofer dine on authentic German grub like Wiener schnitzel, hot pretzels, and patak bratwurst.

You won’t find Bud Light on the beer menu, but what you will find is a wide array of quality imports from Germany and around the world. The best part is Der Biergarten is just a bone’s throw away from many of Atlanta’s most popular attractions, including the Georgia Aquarium and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub

Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub is a colorful restaurant and bar in the Brookhaven neighborhood of Atlanta. This pub prides itself on serving quality farm-to-table food and craft beverages at affordable prices. Customers rave about the pub’s pet-friendly atmosphere and tasty menu items.

Kaleidoscope specializes in “global comfort food”, with delicious and creative twists on classic dishes from around the world, like Korean BBQ rice bowls and Berkshire pork potstickers. Your pup will have a blast lounging on the patio while you knock back a few cold ones. If you ask, the servers will bring out water for Fido and maybe even a treat too.

Lucky’s Burger & Brew

Lucky’s Burger & Brew is a fun, family-friendly spot the whole pack will love. Pups are more than welcome here — they’re encouraged! The bar is so pet-friendly, in fact, that it’s even named after the owner’s Golden Retriever, “Lucky.”

Lucky’s menu will be a smash hit with both adults and kids, with several types of craft burgers and hot wings. Lucky's has plenty to wet your whistle, too, with a vast selection of beer and wine. Check out Lucky's social pages for more info on specials and events for every day of the week. Test your smarts on trivia night every Wednesday, or dance the night away with acoustic music on Saturdays. Stop in on a Sunday for $5 mimosas and Bloody Marys, or pop over on a Monday for half-off bottles of wine.

Brewhouse Cafe

Brewhouse Cafe on Moreland Avenue is a "furrific" spot to grab lunch and a brew with your furry BFF. This bar has a huge draft selection and an even more extensive bottled beer list.

Not a beer person? Not a problem! Brewhouse has an array of white, red, and sparkling wines sure to impress any wine enthusiast. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, try one of Brewhouse's famous cocktails, like the Painkiller or Spicy Mule.

After a few drinks, you’ll probably be hungry, and the Brewhouse has plenty to choose from food-wise. Dig in to delicious sandwiches, crispy hot wings, and killer personal pizzas — just be sure to save a bite for Tucker!
