Looking to "un-wine" with your pooch in LA? We have just the places you're looking for! These 5 dog-friendly bars in Los Angeles are the "pawfect" places to have a drink and spend some quality time with your pet.
We're kicking off this list with one of USA Today's top picks for the best dog-friendly restaurant in America — none other than The Morrison! This restaurant and bar didn't earn that title for nothing; in fact, they have a whole menu for dogs.
Dogs can choose from 3 menu items: "Frankenweenie", or chopped hotdogs with rice, "Cock-a-doodle-doo”, or chicken and rice, or "Where's the beef?", a chopped burger patty with rice. For humans, The Morrison serves up classic pub fare with a twist, with offerings like mac and cheeseburgers, cheese fries with bacon jam, and gourmet NY pretzels.
The Morrison is an Atwater Village staple, but it also has Burbank and Huntington Beach locations — swing by and check them out!
You don't want to miss the Pub at Golden Road Brewing. This hoppin' joint is located on West San Fernando Road and welcomes pups and their parents on its outdoor patio. The patio features heaters to keep you warm in the winter and covered seating to keep Fido cool in the summer.
While enjoying the housemade brews, you can chow down on upscale bar fare, including banh mi, blackened ahi tuna salads, and short rib tacos. The bar's vegan and gluten-free options ensure there's something for every palate.
Little Dom's, located at 2128 Hillhurst Ave. in the Los Feliz neighborhood, is a classic Italian restaurant and bar with a unique and super pet-friendly atmosphere. The railroad booths, leaded glass windows, and black-and-white photos lend to an old-school feel.
The bar has a huge wine, cocktail, and beer list to suit any craving, as well as water and treats for Fido. But did we mention the food? Little Dom's serves up Italian classics just like Grandma used to make. We're talking pizza margherita, Caprese salad, and ricotta raviolo — need we say more?
The Fat Dog in the North Hollywood arts district is a whimsical dog-themed pub that has all the dogs barking. This bar has cold craft beer, creative cocktails, and an extensive wine list to quench your thirst. Servers are happy to bring out a bowl of water and some treats for your fur-baby to enjoy on their dog-friendly patio. Want an extra special treat for Fido? Why not pick up some non-alcoholic dog wine so they can wine and dine alongside you?
This bar has a pretty unique menu complete with vegetarian options to suit any diner. Chow down on fancied-up potato skins stuffed with East Coast crab, hickory-smoked bacon, asparagus, and hollandaise, or keep it classic with gravy-smothered chicken fried chicken. You can't go wrong at The Fat Dog!
Pets are welcome at Art's Table's cozy outdoor patio on 1002 Montana Ave. Art's Table is known for its beer and wine selection as well as its eclectic cuisine, like short rib pappardelle pasta, curry chicken bowls, and Baja-style fish tacos. Pups will love the pet-friendly atmosphere and the dog-loving servers who are sure to make your evening out a great one.
