Published: 2/23/2021
Hi all! We're back with another Pet Caregiver Spotlight story, as part of our on-going series on spotlighting top Pet Caregivers around the nation who provide pet care on the Wag! Platform. This time, we're featuring Erin — a dog walker who hails from Cumming, Georgia and has been walking dogs on Wag! since January 2019.

Erin has completed over 268 walks with reviews earning her a 4.9 star rating. People have said Erin is "absolutely amazing," doesn't forget to send "pawsome video updates" of their pups to Pet Parents, and goes "above and beyond" to make sure each pup has a blast and has a great time! We've asked Erin a series of fun questions to get to know her better! Here they are!
Hi Erin! Are you native to Cumming, Georgia? If not, where are you from?
I'm from Macon, Georgia but now I live in Cumming, Georgia.

Do you have any dogs of your own or have you had in the past?
I had a dog growing up. His name was Buddy, but now I have two cats.

If you could give any advice to a brand new Pet Caregiver, what would it be?
My advice...would be to ALWAYS reach out & get to know your Pet Parents. I love connecting with my clients!

What's your favorite thing about walking with Wag!?
My favorite thing about working with Wag! is taking care of dogs, loving them, and helping clients feel their dogs are in good hands. I also love meeting and getting to know other walkers on social media.

What's your story?
I used to work at precious kennels for 5 years. I mentally wasn't happy at those jobs. My love for dogs started when I grew up with my dog, Buddy!

What inspired you to sign up for Wag!?
I love taking care of other people's animals. To me it's like a hobby.

What are your hobbies or interests?
Listening to music and going out for walks.

What's ONE thing about you that surprises people?
What surprises people is that I'm in recovery.

Wow! Congrats Erin!!👏👏👏
Lastly, how far do you normally travel for services?
I'm out here in a rural area, and I normally travel 30-40 minutes to care for other's pets!

Okay! That's all for now. Thanks for joining and getting to know Erin with us!
