This time, we're featuring Erin — a dog walker who hails from Cumming, Georgia and has been walking dogs with Wag! since January 2019.

Hi, Erin! Are you native to Cumming, Georgia? If not, where are you from?

I'm from Macon, Georgia, but now I live in Cumming, Georgia.

Do you have any dogs of your own or have you had them in the past?

I had a dog growing up named Buddy. Now I have two cats.

If you could give any advice to a brand new Pet Caregiver, what would it be?

My advice would be to ALWAYS reach out and get to know your Pet Parents. I love connecting with my clients!

What's your favorite thing about walking with Wag!?

My favorite thing about working with Wag! is taking care of dogs, loving them, and helping clients feel their dogs are in good hands. I also love meeting and getting to know other walkers on social media.

What's your story?

I used to work at dog kennels for 5 years, but mentally, I wasn't happy at those jobs. My love for dogs started when I grew up with my dog, Buddy!

What inspired you to join the Wag! platform?

I love taking care of other people's animals. To me, it's like a hobby.

What are your other hobbies or interests?

Listening to music and going out for walks.

What's ONE thing about you that surprises people?

What surprises people is that I'm in recovery.

Lastly, how far do you normally travel for services?

I'm out here in a rural area, and I normally travel 30 - 40 minutes to care for other's pets!
