Tanyard Creek Courts are situated at a four-minute drive from the center of Bella Vista. The slow-moving neighborhood is great for walking your little pooch. The area is filled mainly with small houses set back from the street with a golf course behind them, giving the space a suburban feel.
Amenities in the area include numerous vets, dog-friendly cafes, adventure trails, and much more. A facility that stands out is the Goodwill Store and Donation Centre. Here, you can buy your pup much-needed food items or toys, as well as donate old ones. The shopping centers and areas surrounding them are great places to stroll in and out of as well, offering a slight change of pace.
The weather in Tanyard Creek Courts is enjoyable all year round. The Courts enjoy hot summers and mild winters. With temperatures as high as 82°F in summer it may be a good idea to take lots of water on your walks!
Tanyard Creek Courts is a neighborhood full of roads and therefore the land is mostly artificial and concreted. The green spaces along the courts are mostly the front gardens of local residents and their neighbors, so sticking to the paths would be advised, lest you end up on private property. Alternately, the houses are situated on a golf course and so the fairways would be a great place to visit if you wished to get a little bit of green into your walk! Remember to double check the rules of any golf course to see if they are welcoming to pets, otherwise, you may have to explore them on your own.
The terrain is mainly flat and the roads have been newly resurfaced, therefore creating a seamless transition from sidewalk to road. This means it is a great area for dog walkers with disabilities or for anyone who wants a calm and tranquil dog walk.
The Courts are built right next to an adventure trail. Walking the trail can take you anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour and a half depending on which trail you choose to take. It can be muddy at times, especially during winter, so you'll want to bring a sturdy pair of footwear! Rain may also affect the stability of these trails, so be prepared, regardless.
Bella Vista is home to a lot of golf courses and so a great dog walker’s day out is to take your pooch to one where he is allowed. Highlands Golf Course isn’t too far away and is the largest 18-hole course in the area. Scotsdale Golf Course, which is a little closer at a 15-minute drive, is very well looked after and houses numerous lakes if you fancy being by the water. Afterwards, you can visit the clubhouses which will provide your pup with a drink of water before you head back home.
