Central Astoria
If you are looking for a beautiful view to enjoy while your pooch has fun, you need to visit Astoria Park. This park is an on-leash dog park that is fenced in. It sits right beside the river, so there is a beautiful view overlooking the water with a bridge right above. Your pup will have a fun time exploring the grassy park. There are plenty of trees for shade, and there’s also seating available. If you can’t get here during the day, the park is open at night and allows dogs to be off-leash from 9pm to 9am. Grab some water, and head over for a relaxing day at the park.

This neighborhood is located about 7 miles from Astoria, New York and is a great place for you and your pooch to visit. In this neighborhood, there is a dog-friendly beach on Gerritsen Avenue. At this beach, your pooch can run around off his leash. This beach has soft sand and the terrain is a long, narrow strip of land. The beach is open from 9am to 9pm, but it does tend to get very busy on the weekends. Your pooch will have a great time splashing in the water and making new friends. Be sure to bring plenty of water and an umbrella.

This dog-friendly neighborhood is located about half an hour from Astoria, New York. It is home to the Brookdale Dog Park. This dog park is a newer park, and it is very large. Your pooch will love it here because it is like a puppy fantasy land! It is an off-leash, fenced-in park that has running water and provides waste baskets. The surface of the play area is mainly gravel and mulch, and there is agility equipment for your canine friend to play on. If you would like to get some exercise with your pooch, there are paved trails to walk on. These trails do get hot in warmer weather, so keep that in mind.

There are some grassy areas for your pup to play in and trails to walk on. The trails are paved, so keep the temperature in mind so your pup’s paws don’t get too hot. This park has plenty of trees for shade, and there are doggy water fountains all through the park.
