Haulover Beach Park
There are lots of pawsitively awesome things to do at Haulover Beach Park. Take a stroll on the nearby dock or enjoy a picnic at tables. Or better yet, visit the Bark Park, the off-leash dog park located right in Haulover Beach Park! Open from 8 AM to sunset, this park features both large and small dog sections, as well as drinking water and clean up bags for convenience.
If you had your heart set on some swim time with your main canine squeeze, you have come to the right place! There is dog-furiendly beach available between Lifeguard Towers #2 and #3 between the hours of 8 AM and 3 PM. You won't have any trouble finding the right spot as this pawsitively awesome doggo beach is located directly across from the Bark Park. Access to both these dog areas is found between Parking Lots #3 and #4. Your pooch must remain on a lead until they are safely in the designated off-leash dog zones of the park and/or beach. In all other areas, your pup need to remained leashed. This section of beach surely has gone to the doggoes, and Fido may swim, frolic, and play to his heart's content in the seaside haven designed specifically with his needs in mind!Â
To be sure you and your best canine pal are protected from the scorching hot sun, beach chairs and umbrellas are available to rent for a fee. Additionally, there is a $5 weekday fee to access the beach, with the cost rising to $7 per weekend day. When packing for your day of fun, don't forget all of the furrific items you might need, including bottled water, clean up bags, and a snack for Fido too. Please note that flotation devices are not permitted in the water at any time.Â
Bathrooms are available on the grounds for public use. Other woofderful amenities include a boat launch and a marina. This beach earns two paws up for its pristine cleanliness and quiet, tranquil atmosphere.Â
