Indian Rocks Beach Dog Park

The Indian Rocks community is known for miles of beautiful beaches, facilities, and parks. The Indian Rock Nature Preserve is described as a quiet and scenic place to visit. The sand is white with seashells and there is a boardwalk that passes through a mangrove, leading to the beach and ocean. 

You can take your dog for a pleasant walk on the boardwalk and a visit to the dog park. You may spy fiddler crabs and seabirds on your walk. You can take in the view of sunsets and mansions while you are there. The Indian Rocks parks are also known for activities. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a ball field, and a state of the art skateboard park. 

The dog park area is located between 9th and 10th street in the Nature Preserve. A $50 permit is required for non-residents to use this park. Visitors to the dog park report that it is nice, there is grass, and the dogs can go off leash. There are fountains and park benches with shade.  Parking is free, and there are a couple restaurants in the nearby area. It is described as a quiet and relaxing place to visit for an outing with your family and your furry best friend. 

Dogs are not allowed on the beach in Indian Rocks, Florida. They are, however, allowed on the beaches that are located nearby.  You can take your dog to the Fort DeSota Dog Park Beach that is located in St. Petersburg. The park has fenced areas for large and small dogs. There are even showers to give your dog a cooling rinse. Dogs can run off leash on the beach and in the fenced dog areas.
