Jacksonville Beach

Known for its eccentric locals, 22 miles of excellent coastline, surf culture, and of course, the amazing Jacksonville Pier, Jacksonville Beach boasts plenty of awesome features that most beaches simply don't have. This of course, extends to your canine companions, too. 

On Jacksonville beach, you and your pooch best friend can splash in the surf, roam the sand, and meet up with other pawrents and pooches to your heart's content. Between the surfing, people watching, paddleboarding, swimming, exploring, and mingling, you and your pup are bound to have a busy day at Jacksonville Beach. 

The beaches, of course, have a few regulations for you and your pooch, so make sure you understand all of them before gallivanting across the sand together. For starters, you and your pup are permitted on the beach only during specific times. The beach asks that you and your dog only walk on the beach before 9 am and after 5 pm, so please ensure that you abide by this in whatever area you're enjoying Jacksonville Beach. 

More than that, the beach requests that you keep your dog on a leash. Although your dog is likely very well-behaved and listens to voice commands, the reality is, some pups simply aren't, and they can't make an exception for your well-behaved dog. Make sure your doggo's leash is a maximum of 12 feet long and that you're always prepared with poop bags for cleaning up your pup's messes!
