Marine City Beach

Named on Yelp in the top ten of Marine City, MI, Marine City Beach sits right on the banks of St. Clair River. Marine City Beach is a beautiful getaway to bring your pupper to on a hot summer's day. 

If you have kids, this beach is also very kid-friendly with a playground, lifeguards on duty, and plenty of grass and trees for them to play around.

Whether you're headed to Marine City Beach for a holiday like Labor Day or just a summer day where you want to feel the sand between your toes, this beach has everything you need. It provides the perfect excuse to dust off your barbecue materials and plan a picnic or a cook-out on their many picnic tables and camping stoves. 

There's plenty of grass and shade at this beach, which makes it perfect for your doggo! Play fetch or just lay down in the grass with your furry best friend in this area of the park. In terms of water activities, both swimming and fishing are permitted. This is also a very popular spot to go "birding," so keep an eye out for some of our unique and beautiful friends of the sky.

Marine City Beach just recently went through some major renovations to make it an even better recreational site for you, your family, and your fur baby. Among others, the beach now has brand new bathroom facilities, more sand, a privacy fence, signage, buoys, security cameras, and a playground. 

There's no explicit leash policy for doggos, but it's important to be mindful of where your dog is hopping around while spending time there. There are also no poop bags provided, so bring some and pick up after your pup so that this beach can remain clean and welcoming! 

And for our Canadian friends, there is a regular car/pedestrian ferry to Marine City from Sombra, Ontario.
