North Beach

This pawsitively awesome beach and campground is home to 30 acres of heavily wooded areas where you and your favorite canine pal are bound to have a barking good time on a hike or even a leisurely stroll. 

After a great workout on the hiking trails, grab your barkini and head straight for the beach. Whether digging in the sand is more your pooch's style, or doing the backstroke in the cool waters of the North River or the Atlantic Ocean, Fido is welcome to join you in all areas of this pawsome family retreat. Just be sure to bring a leash with you as the local paw patrol do insist that all dogs remain on a lead on the premises. 

Though this beach earns two paws up for its swimming and hiking, you should be sure to bring an umbrella or shade tent to keep your favorite furry friend protected from the sun as there is little shade directly on the sandy shoreline. Bathrooms with showers are available on the premises for public use. When you pack your beach essentials kit, you will need bottled water, clean up bags, and Scooby Snacks.

Swimming and hiking are only two of the wooferful activities you can partake of at North Beach. There is a playground suitable for use by children, and picnic areas. Worked up an appetite after a vigorous swim? A barbecue might just be what the dog-tor ordered!
