Stuart Beach

If you're looking for a new Florida hotspot to explore, Stuart Beach is the place for you! Situated across from the Elliott Museum and the Florida Oceanographic Coastal Center, this pawsome beach is a favorite destination for people and their pooches. Located in Martin County along the famed Treasure Coast, this white sand beach offers the best of both worlds with lots to do on land and at sea. Fido may join his people for a swim in the crystal clear waters or to sunbathe on the sand. But since Florida observes strict leash laws, you are wise to keep your favorite pooch on a leash so as not to risk a run-in with the paw-lice. 

Considered the "Sailfish Capital of the World," fishing opportunities are plentiful at Stuart Beach. But there's lots of pawsitively awesome stuff for you to do with your favorite canine pal in tow. The beach is located near to downtown Stuart, a city of historic importance, and one that is great for dog walking. You can grab a quick snack at the Chef Shack, or pack a lunch from home to enjoy at the pawrific picnic grounds. When you pack your bag, don't forget to include a thing or two for Fido, such as snacks, bottled water, and clean up bags. 

Other furrific activities available at Stuart Beach include beach volleyball, basketball, swimming, and water sports. Bathrooms are available on the grounds, as are outdoor showers where you can hose down your hound after a romp in the sand. Lifeguards are on duty during daylight hours to make sure all canine and human visitors remain safe in the water. There is also a playground which offers lots of shade where your kids can have some fun.
