Stewart Creek Park offers a dog-friendly beach in The Colony, which is north of Dallas. Pups are welcome on-leash on the beach surrounding Lewisville Lake. Here, you and your dog can go for long strolls on the shoreline. You can also go swimming in the lake if you’d like. You and your pup can also try your luck fishing together at this lake, or you can play a fun game of beach volleyball!
Hidden Cove Park and Marina is another pawesome dog-friendly beach in The Colony! This park is also on Lake Lewisville, and it has a beach where you can take your pup for on-leash walks. Your dog can also go for a swim in the lake’s beautiful water, and you can relax on the sand together. If your dog gets hungry, there are barbeques right on the lake you can use to grill up lunch.
Located in North Dallas, NorthBark Dog Park offers not only an off-leash dog park, but also a fun-filled on-leash beach located on a lovely little lake that has plenty of space for pups to swim. While the beach itself is a bit narrow, there is enough space for dogs to run around. If your dog gets messy while they’re at the beach, a doggy shower is available.
White Rock Lake Dog Beach in Dallas is a puptastic place to take your dog for a swim. This off-leash beach is fully fenced, and it has direct access to scenic White Rock Lake. You and your pup will both have a great time swimming in the lake’s clear water and lounging on the sand. You can also bring a picnic to enjoy with your pup on the beach!
