Description

Albeni Cove Campground is one of Idaho’s top locations for riverside camping. It rests in Idaho’s northern tip, right next to the picturesque Pend Oreille River. If you were looking for the perfect spot for your next camping trip, look no further! You’re sure to love the campground’s scenic setting, peaceful vibe, and location near some of the area’s best outdoor recreation sites. You’ll also enjoy the well-maintained facilities and useful amenities available on the premises. But most of all, the campground is pet-friendly, so you can have a pawesome camping trip with your waggy companion!

Albeni Cove has 14 campsites, and each of these sites can accommodate up to eight campers. The sites come equipped with grills and picnic tables, and the nightly fee for a site is $21. Some of the other pawesome amenities at the campground are showers, flush toilets, security lights, a pay phone, and firewood. If you want to access the lake, you can use the campground’s convenient dock or boat ramp. And don’t worry about sun exposure — the campground gets lots of shade from the trees that surround it.

While the campground and neighboring lake are great places to hang out and enjoy fun activities, you can find even more things to do if you venture out further. Check out some of the hiking trails in the area: Mineral Point Trail is an easier choice that spans about two miles. Also consider Mickinnick Trail — it has scenic hilltop views of the lake below. Be sure to stop by the Albeni Falls Visitor Center for information about the area’s history and nature.

There are a few things you should consider when you’re getting ready to visit Albeni Cove. Remember that your pooch will need to remain leashed throughout your stay. Also, you should make sure you clean up after your dog. As long as you follow those simple rules, you and Fido will pawsitively love your stay at Albeni Cove Campground!

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
