Alpine Country Store and RV Park in northern Idaho is a furrific choice for both road-trippers who are passing through and thrillseekers who need a place to stay while checking out the local attractions.
This campground may not have the extra frills of other RV parks, but it has all the things your pack needs to feel comfortable, like hot showers, flushing toilets, charcoal grills, a small laundry room, and wifi. Many past guests of the park recommend prospective visitors invest in a personal hotspot if they plan on streaming movies or games, though the resort wifi will get the job done for simple tasks. An on-site general store and snack bar offer most everything you could need (including groceries and fishing supplies!), but on the off chance they don't have what you're looking for, you can head across the street to the mini-mart.
Varied RV site types ensure that everyone's rig fits and has the proper hookups, and unlike many RV parks, Alpine allows folding campers! Daily rates start at $43.95 per night, which may seem a bit steep for an RV park but is much less than the surrounding parks.
Alpine RV Park is excellent for multi-pet families since they allow up to three dogs per RV site and enforce no breed or size restrictions. Their rules state that canines must be leashed while outside of their motorhome. The grounds have a designated dog walking area for canines, and owners are asked to stick to this path when out and about with their pup. Failure to abide by their pet policy could result in dismissal.
You're probably thinking, "What on earth is there to do in Idaho?!" The answer is quite a lot! The Silverwood Theme Park is sure to get your family's heart racing, with its twisting metal coasters and high-velocity water slides. Those looking to have some grown-up fun can try their hand at the nearby Coeur d’Alene Casino.
