Amana RV Park & Event Center

If you find yourself roaming the beautiful state of Iowa in your trusty RV with your pup by your side, you absolutely must stop at the Amana RV Park and Event Center. A somewhat rural area (that's just a few miles away from urban comforts), this event center is a wide-open space that doubles as a full-service RV park. 

Got a rally group with you? Come on down! With over 450 campsites on the beautiful Iowa prairie, there's room for everyone. Most sites come with full hookups, while some come equipped with just water and electric, and a handful of sites are primitive. Each site is level and paved, and most feature a picnic table. Other amenities include a camp store, laundry facilities, a dump station, and fire rings with firewood for sale on-site. In short, you have everything you could pawssibly need for a memorable camping vacation!

Your pawfect pup can join the prairie party, too! While there's no off-leash park available (and it can be tempting to let them loose on the prairie), you can walk your doggo around the park so long as they're on their leash at all times! Take note that this park is specifically strict about barking, so keep your pal on their best behavior!

The cool part about this campground? The location. It's in the heart of the Amana Colonies, but it's only a few miles away from the interstate. Translation? You get the peace and quiet you and your pooch are after while having access to modern conveniences. Of course, there are plenty of events on-site, too! Make your reservations early for events like the Dog Gone Devils Flyball Event, the National Camping Travelers Rally, Wood Fest, and the Amana Colonies Cluster Dog Show!
