Description

American Heritage RV Park is a prestigious campground where travelers can pitch a tent, get cozy in a pioneer-style cabin, or park the RV on a comfortable, paved site.

The setting is majestic with plentiful trees for shade and an aura of tranquility enticing RVers to pull off the highway and enjoy meticulously maintained grounds, friendly hosts, and easy connections to electricity (30/50 amp), water, and sewer.

Here, the classic picnic table makes way for stylish garden furniture and a fireplace on a spacious, landscaped area, adding to the upscale charm of this popular Virginia campground. There’s a good choice of pull-through and back-in sites with wifi and cable TV all included at a daily rate starting at $54.25 in the off-season.

Spend a night in a fully-furnished cottage with elegant décor and enjoy access to the park's inviting swimming pool, games of horseshoes, mini-golf, and basketball, while the kids have the time of their lives on a Herculean water slide.

Four-legged friends are more than welcome at this well-rated camp that cares enough to offer a fenced dog run where pupsters can prance about off-leash. Dog guardians are required to pick up their waste and pay a refundable pet fee of $25 if they're staying in the cabins. (There's no extra charge for your pet to stay in your RV.) Access to an open grassy field and tree-sniffing trails make this park as pet-friendly as pawssible.

Refurbished restrooms, showers, and laundry facilities top off a wonderful place to camp if you’re passing through or interested in exploring the origins of America in Williamsburg, a place of national pride where the happenings of the past dance off the history pages and are showcased in this memorable city. Museums relay the early settler stories, while preserved homes and buildings offer an insight into how folks lived in the infancy stage of a grand nation.

A stay at American Heritage RV Park is an escape to a classy campground with versatile accommodations and a fun place for kids and pets. The busiest times are summer and holidays, with bookings always preferred.

Wag! does not allow or encourage Pet Care Providers to bring dogs to parks.
